INFORMATION

The stays presented on this site constitute the preliminary offer aimed by the general conditions opposite and it engages HORIZONS D'ALSACE and its partners. The information of stay presented on the site is not exhaustive and constitutes a summary. Modifications can intervene in the number and the nature of the proposed services. If modifications occurred before the update of the stays on the site, they would be brought to the knowledge of the customer by Horizons d'Alsace at the time of the confirmation of the reservation.

RESPONSIBILITY

HORIZONS D'ALSACE would not know how to substitute itself for the individual responsibility of each participant. On the other hand, acting as a travel organizer, HORIZONS D'ALSACE is led to choose various service providers and could not be confused with these last ones which preserve their own responsibility.

RISKS

The free hikes (on foot, bike, snowshoes or mountain bike) are tours sold without a guide. The package includes a description of the itinerary and a map or a plan of the area. The free hikes therefore require a reasonable knowledge of map reading and orientation, especially in the mountains. Each participant must comply with the rules of caution and follow the advice given by the topo-guide. HORIZONS D'ALSACE cannot be held responsible for accidents resulting from the carelessness of a participant, nor from a misinterpretation of the description or a mistake in reading the map by the user or a modification of the markup of the paths.

The free hikes implies the acceptance of a risk, however small, which may be due to a change in the natural elements on the route.

Consequently, each participant agrees to accept this risk and not to hold HORIZONS D'ALSACE or the various service providers responsible for accidents or incidents that may occur. This is also valid for the beneficiaries and the members of their family.

REGISTRATION

Your registration will be taken into account upon receipt of the reservation form that you will find on this website and subject to availability.

Registrations for a group of more than 2 people must be grouped on a single reservation form. Do not forget to designate a person in charge of the file, to whom we will send all correspondence.

The registration to one of our stays implies the total adhesion to our general conditions of sales.

RESERVATION

After receiving your registration request by means of the form you will find on this site, we will send you a detailed proposal.

If you are satisfied with our proposal, you can confirm your reservation by paying a deposit of 100 € per person.

Your registration to one of our stays is considered as final after validation of our proposal by the payment of the deposit or the payment of the totality of the stay (if your arrival is less than one month before the date of your registration). This procedure takes the place of a contract between you and Horizons d'Alsace.

For a group of more than 2 people, we ask that the deposit payment be totaled in one payment.

However, it is possible that each participant pays separately. In this case, we need the name and postal address of each participant as well as their email address. A supplement of €15 per person will be added to the balance to be paid for administrative costs.

PAYMENT

The balance of your stay must be paid 30 days before your arrival. A stay not paid within this period may be cancelled without reminder, the deposit remaining acquired for the association.

In the case of a registration less than 30 days before your arrival, a global payment is required.

The payment can be made:

  • by credit card on a secure page by means of a link that we will send you.

For a group of more than 2 people, we ask that the balance payment be totaled in one payment.

However, it is possible that each participant pays separately. In this case, we need the name and postal address of each participant as well as their email address. A supplement of €15 per person will be added to the balance to be paid for administrative costs.

 

MODIFICATION

In the event of modification on your part, total or partial of your reservation confirmed by payment of a deposit or by payment of the entire stay, we will be obliged to invoice you for administrative costs in the amount of 50 €.

CANCELLATION

If you cancel your booking, the amount retained will be :

  • More than 30 days before arrival: 50 € fee for administrative costs.
  • 30 to 20 days before arrival : 30% of the full amount.
  • 19 to 10 days prior to arrival : 40% of the full amount.
  • 9 to 6 days prior to arrival : 60% of the full amount.
  • 5 days prior to arrival : the full amount.

If we are forced to cancel your holiday :

  • We will try to offer you a suitable alternative.
  • If this is not acceptable, we will refund your payment in full.

CANCELLATION COVID-19 - 2020, 2021 and 2022 SEASON

In the event of cancellation on your part for any reasons related to the epidemic (positive screening test, travel restrictions, border closures, ...) and according to your preference, we undertake:

  • to postpone your reservation to a later date (until 31/12/23) and free of charge or
  • to reimburse you for the sums paid minus € 50 for the administration fees + the bank charges generated by the payment.
